Description
EBI is seeking a full-time Senior Program Manager of Civil Engineering. The successful candidate will be in responsible charge of the overall execution of civil engineering projects with our retail and/or developer clients, managing our Civil Engineering and Planning staff. Candidate should have 12+ years of experience in Civil Engineering/Site Civil design and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Project Manager and/or Staff Management role. Engineering experience should include design drafting, permitting, coordination with jurisdictions, attending public meetings, developing full site civil design plans, and preparation of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans and Erosion Control Plans. The candidate will coordinate the efforts of the team to ensure successful execution, collaborating with internal and external clientele to develop project schedules and milestones, establish project deliverable commitments, and resolve deficiencies. The candidate will be responsible for the generation, revision, and production of reports throughout the life cycle of each project.

Staff Management
  • Manage staff of Civil Engineers and Planning/Permitting Staff
  • Facilitate strategic hiring for group
  • Evaluate workload and staff utilization 
Project Management
  • Create and execute project scope and work plan, revise as appropriate for success
  • Oversee and ensure project milestones and deadlines achieved. Manage project budgets. Complete projects on time and on budget. Ownership for full project life cycle from proposal / purchase order to invoice / close-out
  • Detailed financial management required - revenue, expenses, margins, unbilled, backlog
  • Expected to manage multiple projects concurrently. Communicate project status to clients and internal management
  • Conduct Quality Control review of deliverables
  • Coordinate with and manage outside consultants and subcontractors. 
Education and Experience 
  • Bachelor Degree from accredited university in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineering license in state or residence. Additional states a plus
  • 7 - 15 years of progressive professional experience in related role within the specified field
  • Position requires proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Office systems. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to handle fast paced environment, multi-task, with critical attention to detail
  • Must be willing to occasionally work during non-traditional hours to support client and team needs. Ability to work under tight deadlines
